I believe, I first saw Soraya on the Univision show "Sabado Gigante" or "Otro Rollo." At the time, she was promoting her CD, "En Esta Noche." I was impressed with her latin pop music sound.

Pienso, que la primera vez que vi (conoci) la musica de Soraya fue cuando salio en el show de "Sabado Gigante" o el show del "Otro Rollo." En ese tiempo, ella estaba promoviendo su CD, "En Esta Noche." Me encanto su estilo de tocar y cantar su musica pop.

A Soraya le escuche en el 1996. En la radio con su canción De repente. Y obtuve su cd. Desde entonces la escucho.

Yo al igual que Mo escuché a Soraya con De repente y Quédate en la Radio, pero en sus versiones en Inglés más que en español y fueron esas las que me llamaron la atención. Eso fue el 96 si no me equivoco y era cuando andaba en el auto con mi mamá.

Obtuve sus cds a partir del Disco Soraya, pero desde el 96 que le sigo la pista .

Yo la escuche en la radio con De repente en el 96', yo tenia 12 años, despues compre el casette (todavia no tenia cd's luego lo remplaze por cd) y me gusto mas aun, y desde ese entonces me converti en fanatica y la siguo ...

Recuerdo que cuando era niña ví el video De Repente y me encantó la música, también recuerdo haberla escuchado en el radio pero mi imagen mas fresca fue ver el video en un programa de espectáculos.

Pasaron unos años sin que supiera de la cantante de ese video que me había gustado hasta que decidí encontrar más sobre ella, el primer album que compré fue En Esta Noche, es un album difícil de encotrar y tuve la suerte de encontrarlo en una tienda departametal ya que se me hacía mas fácil encontrarlo en una tienda de discos pero nunca fué asi.

Con el paso del tiempo he ido formando mi colección de cd's de Soraya, de todos los cantantes que me gustan, solo una de mis bandas favoritas y Soraya son de los que tengo cada cd que han producido.

In 96, my parents went to Supertramp's concert in Paris. Soraya was the first part of the concert and at the exit they gave a cd with some extracts of her album On Nights Like This they gave me the cd and I loved it!! but I didn't know anything about soraya. I found this site a week ago and now I'm near to be a fan!

I heard Como Seria on TV and was totally taken by it.

I just finished writing down the song note for note the way she sings it-because it was difficult to put the words to the music.

I am trying not to post to much about it because I am(here is a word to look up in the dictionary)OBSESSIVE.

I've learned the chords and I am going to record this to give it to the person who is helping me with my Spanish(to see if I am doing it correctly). I'm working on the rhythm tracks tonight. This whole thing is going to take about a month! Obsessive.

The public library I use has an extensive collection of Latin jazz and pop, with cds by everybody from Tito Puentes and Celia Cruz to Jaci Velasquez and Gloria Estefan.

Anyway, I checked out the cd "Cuerpo y Alma" and was very impressed. Soraya is an astonishing and versatile songwriter. She writes in Spanish and in English. She can compose in both contemporary pop ("When Did I Say That?") and in traditional Latin styles ("Amigo Mio") She excels at rock song-writing as well, as in "Gotas de Perdon" and "La Promesa." "Segundo Lento" is a gorgeous 3/4 rock ballad. ("Slow Second" just doesn't sound as good in English!)

She uses her falsetto voice to great effect. Her songwriting contains an irresistable personal touch that is lacking in so much contemporary pop music.

I'm buying all her recordings and hope to see her in concert someday. I live in Detroit, which is way up north near the Canadian border. I doubt she'll ever play a gig here, but maybe I can attend a Soraya concert in Miami or, if I'm lucky, in Barcelona.

yo, por radio supe de soraya, ya despuecito me adentrè a su website, porque en la època de torre de marfil creo que aun no tenìa pàgina web.

igual, lo primero que tuve de ella fue el cd de torre de marfil y despuès el kST de en esta noche, el cual tuve que ir a conseguirlo al DF, xq acà donde vivo no lo vendìan.
