If she makes the CD into an English version, I hope EMI sells it here in the United States as well. The music is just to good to ignore in our part of the world.

I was wondering where the lyrics to the songs were, but I found that they are located within the CD as a PDF file in the CD that I bought.

Yo me preguntaba donde estan las letras de las canciones, pero los encontre que estaban localizados adentro del CD como un archivo de PDF en el CD que compre.

Soraya’s new CD is just phenomenal. It is a wonderful blend of musical essence. Don’t lose the opportunity to hear it yourselves.

Ya que Uds tienen el privilegio de ya haber escuchado el album, y despues de haber escuhado los samples de cada uno de los tracks del album (que yo aun no me acostumbro mucho a su nuevo sonido ... seguro debere escucharlos mas atentamente una vez que tenga el album!!), seria bueno que esccriban un review/critica de cada uno de los doce temas, que les parece, cuales el estilo y que puntaje le dan a cada cancion. De esa manera tendremos na vision mas global de cada una de las nuevas canciones.

Bueno, no soy critico pero voy a tratar de dar mi sentimientos...

El CD si es algo differente pero para mi este CD ensenua (shows) que Soraya y su musicos estan en un nivel de perfecion (comporarado ha los otros latinas en el mundo de la musica)...si Soraya quiere que su segundo cancion sea un poco de su estilo de rock entonces puedo hacer la cancion, [b]"La Promesa"[/b]. Yo casi no escucho muncho la musica en el radio de aqui pero digo que esta cancion le da competicion ha el rock groupo que se llama [b]Mana[/b]. Mana son excelente tambien.

Esta cancion es para darle volumen ha el estero esta super buena.

[b] Alma De La Calle [/b] es bella con la voce de Soraya muy dulce para mi....una voz que canta como un poeta vive de cantar o hablar de su vida en su poesia de su vida (la vida de Alma de La Calle)...las letras le dan justicia ha la mujer que es conicida como "Alma de La Calle"

La cancion [b]"Tiempo" [/b] es upbeat...ritmo allegre...parece que tiene un poco de piano....electric quitar....

[b]Gotas De Perdon [/b] es para mi mas sueve el ritmo no es muy upbeat...tiene su tiempo de tumbora...es para escuhar la palabras (para mi).

[b]"Llevame" y Lead Me [/b]yo cre que ya sabes como son porque aqui en el foro ya las pudiemos oir en unos links.

La cancion - [b]El Otro Lado de Mi [/b]- cominza con un flute (como algo de Carlos Vives en la Tierra del Olvido" ... comienza sueve y tiene su tiempo de upbeat...palabras excelente....tiempo de tomboros....al fin el flute...excelente trabajo de todos los instrimentos...una fusion...

[b]"Un Segundo Lento" [/b] es una cancion de amor...balladad...tiene su tiempo de su upbeat ritmo...tiene su tiempo de escuchar las bellas palabras y tiene su tiempo de escuhar la doce voz que Soraya todos los tiempos nos da....tiempo de upbeat y tiempo de ritmo silencio (slow).

[b] "Sin Tu amor" [/b] un poco upbeat...palabras que tiene su tiempo...tiempo de guitarra...de tombora...buena cancion...para mi yo le subo el volume...catchy tunes (no se como explicar en espanol)...

[b] "Como Seria" [/b] - para que lei (ingles - read) de Ernie que esta era una cancion que Soraya le compueso ha otro duo de cantantes? Es un cancion de romance ... ritmo despacio.... para escuchar la voz de Soraya...pero tambien tiene las musica detras (background) unas varios cambios de instrumentos (mi sentimiento)....

[b] "Un Mundo Sin Prisa" [/b]...par mi esta es la cancion mas bella...si es de romance...pero tiene su upbeat...lyricos excelente...catchy lyrics....instrumentos que sabe su tiempo o sera al reverce....hasta unos Americans que no saben nada de Espanol se cercaron ha mi automobile para oir la cancion....eso te dice algo de la calidad de la cancion...que Soraya y su banda y su co-producer han hecho....

O'jala Ernie te responde...sera que mi interpecion sea toda mal...

[b]Soraya[/b] – [b]“El Otro Lado De Mi”[/b] my English personal reviews of the entire CD.

[b]SER[/b] – the song is filled with a mixture of musical styles – the beating drums stand out me – to me it sounds like there is a mixture of country electric guitar – the bass guitar is also very prominent in this song. The up-tempo rhythm sounds and clapping hands add to the enjoyment of the song.

[b]LLEVAME[/b] – Soraya’s harder edge rock song – the Spanish lyrical version of the English song entitled, [b]LEAD ME[/b]. Both versions are great. Both songs are harder edge rock songs with just a little change of a phrase in the beginning of this Spanish version of the song. But, the essence of the story (lyrics) in the song remains the same. It just lost a sliver of its meaning to me in the [b]Spanish version[/b] because the lost phrase was written especially for me.[img]http://img173.exs.cx/img173/7113/wink4yk.gif[/img]

[b]Como Seria[/b] – a slow romantic musical song with a great love story being told by the incredible lovely voice of Soraya. Even though it is a slow song…it has a great blend of musical sounds. I think I would hate it if Soraya wrote this song in English because it might lose its musical spirit, but that is just my own personal opinion. Some songs should stay in there own language and not lose their true soul. But, Soraya is phenomenal in the translating process so I will have to reserve my personal judgment in case I love her English version for this song. Of course, I will probably never hear the English version because the music company usually just sells the English versions overseas.

[b]Sin Tu Amor[/b] – this Song has catchy lyrics and a catchy musical sound – starts slowly but it builds into several musical crescendos where the listener desires to crank up the volume on his or her stereo. You will find yourself repeating this one over a few times in your CD player. There is a great story being told in the song as well.

[b]El Otro Lado De Mi[/b] – this song starts with a musical flute ([b]gaita[/b]). I think the lady ([b]Mayte Montero[/b]) that plays the instrument is the same lady that usually plays with [b]Carlos Vives[/b] (the song has a very similar sound to his CD[b] “Tierra del Olvido”[/b] which is great). The big musical drums play a prominent role in the song. A fabulous musical blend. A fusion of musical sounds to enjoy.

[b]Un Segundo Lento[/b] – a slow romantic song that has moments of wonderful upbeats. The great lyrics and Soraya’s beautiful voice are what really stand out in this song. The music in the background is great as well. This song is definitely a nice romantic song to dance with someone close to your heart and soul. Wine, candlelights, and Soraya singing this great romantic song…what more could your loved one want?

[b]La Promesa[/b] – a harder edge rock song – turn up the volume on this one. Great catchy musical sound. If you like harder edge rock musical sounds this song is one that you will really enjoy. Great guitar sound. This is a song I would really like to see in an actual concert if Soraya and her band really wanted to go a little longer than the limited time that CD’s restrict musical songs to nowadays.

[b]Alma De La Calle[/b] – Soraya’s musical tribute to a great poet named [b]María Amparo Amaya Alarcón[/b] from Columbia. It gives a very short little story about her life. If you have a decent human soul and this musical song does not bring a few tears to your heart – then learn a little Spanish (for your own sake), and you should definitely [b]visit Maria’s website[/b] located at the second web page link when you enter this official website of Soraya to enlighten yourself about Maria.

[b]Un Mundo Sin Prisa[/b] – Great musical song. Great catchy lyrics. This song will probably be a CD Single for sure in the upcoming months or days. Nobody needs to know any Spanish to enjoy this one. The song borders on the musical edge of a hard rock or pop song with romantic lyrics…[i]que mas quieres[/i]? You will definitely want to hear this one over and over, so do yourself a favor when you get to this great song - put it in repeat mode. The song is definitely to short but that is the way nowadays on most CDs. Whatever happened to 11 to 12 minute songs? Oh well...c'est la vie.

[b]Tiempo[/b] – An upbeat song…some piano…some electric guitar…great dancing song…catchy lyrics…another winner.

[b]Gotas De Perdon[/b] – a little slower song compared with all the other songs in this CD, but it has moments of upbeat tempo …the lyrical words are the heart of this song and the great voice of Soraya.

[b]LEAD ME[/b] – Soraya’s [b]English version[/b] of the song entitled [b]Lleveme[/b]. According to the press release from this website she wrote this version first before she wrote the Spanish version. For some stupid reason I already knew that fact, but I can not figure out why?

If Soraya does not win another [b]Latin Grammy[/b] or a regular [b]Grammy[/b] this coming year (next time) then some other musical artist will have done his or her own extraordinary musical CD, because this new CD of Soraya's is fantastic.

I thought Soraya would have had a tougher time making a superior CD to her recently released “Soraya” CD which won her a Latin Grammy, but she has definitely accomplished her task with [b]“El Otro Lado De Mi.”[/b] If Soraya doesn’t win another Grammy, I will definitely take some Grammy voters’ names and kick some of their butts. Thus far, this year no other Latin musical singer can stand up to Soraya’s new musical CD…none…that is a plain fact.

This is a rare jewel in a sea of exquisites’ diamonds, so I would encourage anyone to go buy it.

The quality of ignorance

I just got the album yesterday. I like 'Sin Tu Amor' almost as much as I like Como Seria, and LLEVAME is stuck in my head(I keep hearing it).
